A bit about me...
My interest for hair and makeup started like you may expect, always being asked to do my friends hair at highschool or makeup for our school balls. After doing a few friends weddings, because I had "the natural nak" in 2007 I decided to go to makeup school to make it official. I attended Samala Robinson academy and graduated with merit and later took some hair training with Schwarzkopf.
For the first couple of years of my career I had the honour of working alongside some of New Zealand's top makeup artists who taught me so much more than I could have imagined. Now I am lucky to be considered among them.
I have gained experience in all different areas of the industry having worked in television, corporate events, fashion week and alongside some of Auckland's well known modelling agencies and most amazing photographers.
I am now solely a freelance hair and makeup artist, my main focus is weddings. It is my passion!
Having been a bride myself I know how important it is to have people working with you who are in love with what they do. My portfolio of work reflects my attention to detail, my creative flare and my ability to really listen to what the bride or client is asking for. I work well under pressure, infact I’d say I thrive on it. I’m often told I have a secret ability to keep the bride calm in those stressful moments on a wedding day. Which we all know happens...

Paula is not only my trusted assistant, she is also my sister.
This gives us excellent communication skills which makes us an amazing team.
Paula had a similar start into the industry as me. Having also graduated from Samala Robinson Academy in the same year. Paula is very artistic and she loves to paint and draw in her spare time. Throughout her school years her subjects were all art focused, giving her a very artistic eye.
Paula is also a fully qualified early childhood educator. She is lucky enough to have made careers out of both her passions in life. So while she is kept busy during the week she works with me on weekends and is flexible enough to help me on large weddings during the week.
Paula is not only my trusted assistant, she is also my sister.
